Nedan följer utdrag från rapport och presentation av ett par familjer

In total this financial year we have constructed 20 houses and 20 water tanks, one house are ongoing. In total 21 houses and tanks for 2021. 

We have started receiving November – December rains here in mutomo, although it has started late as it was expected and people are busy doing farming at their farms. Community members now have clean water for their domestic use and drinking. 

All families have been assesed and are presented including pictures of their homes before and after construction. Below some of the families supported in 2021.

Mutunga – A family of six members, a single mother and five children. Four children are in primary school while the last born is in nursery school. The mother is the bread winner of the family, daily looking for casual work so that she can bring the food on the table.

Lucy – A family of six members, the mother who is a widow and five children. The first born dropped out school due to lack of school fees and poverty level.  The second born is in secondary school and she is in form four. The other three children are in lower classes in primary school.  Her husband died may this year.

Kavenya – She is a single mother of six children. Five girls and one boy. Four children are in primary school while the last two children have not yet joined the school. The mother is HIV positive and she is on drugs with the last born. 

Mwesaka – A family of seven members, six children. Three children are in primary school while one has not yet joined the school. The last born is two-month-old.
